She was actually Harriet Fales of Dedham, however, several newspaper accounts list her as the sister (actually half-sister) of the famed journalist George H. Munroe. They shared the same mother, Rebecca Ellis, who first married Harris Munroe in Dedham on June 3d, 1821, before marrying Benjamin Hartshorn Fales on 4 Dec 1836.
